About Your Doula!
Hi there! My name is Catriona, and I would be honored to be your doula. But before we get there, here is a little about myself. My husband Noah, and I, have a young daughter Eloise whom we CHERISH. When I am not with them, I am either crocheting, dancing, or picking up a good book. I chose this career path because of a dear friend who introduced it to me. I love pregnancy, birth, women’s health, and supporting families bring new bundles of joy into the world. While I can’t do the medical side of it, I am more than happy to help you and your support person physically, mentally, and emotionally. I plan on continuing my education in breastfeeding support and other certifications to extend my capabilities to those who desire it.
What is a Doula?
Simply put, a doula is a professional who is trained in childbirth. We can offer guidance during pregnancy, verbal and physical support during labor, help with bonding after birth, and some doulas offer in-person postpartum help as well.
